CONCEPT
THE LAST AMERICAN is a multi-media, rock musical that integrates the Native American spirit as a force in the struggle for freedom in the future. The Last American is about the creation of a better world and the obstacles inherent to that pursuit. Mohawk scientist TK's hope is that we will find utopia in his Mind Viewing Machine (MVM), salvation from creation. The play integrates the vital contributions the Iroquois made to the foundation of the United States of America. Attempting to learn from the wisdom of the ages, as well as the advancements of modern science, The Last American explores the evolution of the human spirit.
